The third annual Pumpkinfest will be held on Saturday, Octobe20, 2012 on Avenue A in Turners Falls. The event is FREE to the public. Just bring cash for food, beer, and fun! The event runs from 3-9pm, with FREE shuttling from Turners Falls High School and Sheffield School! The event's Facebook page:  Michael Nelson is the event coordinator:

Pumpkinfest wants to recycle but needs volunteers to do so. A Recycling Coordinator is also needed, and recycling at this event can only happen if one or more individuals step up to manage the program. Its a great thing to put on a resume! The Recycling Coordinator would pick up and return recycle bins to Franklin County Solid Waste District, supervise volunteers during the one day event, and make sure materials are recycled. I can assist the Recycling Coordinator in planning, but I can't be at the event. This is a really FUN event!

The event runs from 3-9, so possible shift times could be: a set up and early shift from 2-6, and a night shift from 6-10.

Event recycle bins, etc. LOANED for free from Franklin County Solid Waste Management District.
