Recycle/Compost Volunteers needed for The Little E

Recycle/Compost volunteers are needed for:
the little e (the Franklin County Home Show, Green Fair, and more!) www.thelittlee.org

April 26 & 27 at the Franklin County Fairgrounds (89 Wisdom Way, Greenfield, MA 01301)
The event is 10-4 both days.
Volunteers also needed for set up on Friday April 25th.

Recycle/ Compost volunteers will:


* Collect compost* and recyclables
* Sort recyclables
* Monitor compost bins
* Remove plastic contamination from compost
* Educate attendees about what is acceptable for compost
* Have fun and enjoy the event while protecting our environment and promoting sustainability
Gloves and hand sanitizer are provided.


*Large-scale commercial/ industrial compost program in which anything biodegradable is accepted: paper, paper plates, napkins, meat, bones, dairy, grains, breads, veggies, fruits, and more. Compostable materials are collected in designated collection bins and delivered to a compost facility.

Parking and admission is free; volunteers will be listed at the gate.

Individuals, families, school groups, scout troops, and civic groups are welcome and encouraged to volunteer.
