Job Opening- Upward Bound

The Upward Bound Program at Northfield Mount Hermon seeks a skilled professional to assist young people achieve their college dreams.  Upward Bound is a college preparation program for low-income and first-generation college bound youth. The adviser provides academic year outreach services to Holyoke High School students at their school, assisting them with course selection, tutoring, college and financial aid applications, after school enrichment, college trips, and family involvement activities. Summer duties may include teaching, administrative or residential life duties on the NMH campus. 

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent teaching or counseling experience, knowledge of the college and financial aid application process and a demonstrated commitment to equity in education.  Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) ability is strongly preferred.
