In The Spotlight...

Who ended up in Franklin County because of a blind date and was eager to leave NYC post 9/11 anyway? Thomasina Hall, the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Teaching and Learning, Marty Espinola. Thomi has always known she wanted to be in the education field, most likely as an elementary school teacher.

In addition to working full time, she also attends GCC where she is working towards her BA in Education and plans to transfer to a 4-year college from there. As both an employee and parent (of twin 7-year old boys) in the district, she has lots of respect for what teachers do and understands more of the whys and hows of the classroom. Did we mention she is also very active in the Montague Elementary School PTO?

Thomi is also an avid reader, favoring science fiction. If given an extra week off with pay and relieved of all other responsibilities, she would like to be transported to a beach where she could read, relax, breathe and slow down. Sounds reasonable to us!
